Col. Rebecca Sonkiss, 89th Airlift Wing commander receives her first salute from Airmen assigned to the 89th AW, June 15, 2018 during a change of command ceremony at Joint Base Andrews, Md. Sonkiss assumed command of the 89th AW from Col. Casey Eaton. Sonkiss is a command pilot with more than 4,200 hours in the T-37B, T-44, EC-130/H, RQ-1A/B, C-130J and C-17 aircraft.
