180613-N-XN177-0101 YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 13, 2018) – Sailors assigned to base security onboard U.S. Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka confront a suspect as part of a vehicle gate penetration drill during Citadel Pacific 2018. Citadel Pacific is annual exercise designed to enhance training, readiness and capability of Navy Security Forces to respond to threats to Navy Installations and units. FLEACT Yokosuka provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and 27,000 military and civilian personnel.
