180613-N-XN177-0126 YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 13, 2018) – A remote control military robot from Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit Mobil Unit (EODMU) 5 moves toward a car as part of an improvised explosive device (IED) drill during Citadel Pacific 2018. Citadel Pacific is annual exercise designed to enhance training, readiness and capability of Navy Security Forces to respond to threats to Navy Installations and units. FLEACT Yokosuka provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and 27,000 military and civilian personnel.
