Bill O’Leary, deputy commander of the Field Army and joint head of the Reserve, stand near the mass casualty exercise while Wright provides explanation of the event at Swidwin Air Field, Swidwin, Poland. This mass casualty exercise is a great way for the multinational medical teams to practice alongside one another to learn and strengthen our European military alliances. Saber Strike 18 is the eighth iteration of the long-standing U.S. Army Europe-led cooperative training exercise designed to enhance interoperability among allies and regional partners.
