U.S. Marine Col. Michael H. Oppenheim, the commanding officer of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, speaks to Honduran news reporters following a ceremony aboard Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, to mark the beginning of the unit's deployment to Latin America and the Caribbean, June 11, 2018. The Marines and sailors of SPMAGTF-SC will conduct security cooperation training and engineering projects alongside partner nation military forces in Central and South America during their deployment.
