Spc. Joseph A. Lecuyer, 134 Brigade Support Battalion, 1/34 Brigade Combat Team, Minnesota National Guard, places an empty pallet in the back of a Gator in the early morning on the Army life support area (LSA), Ali Al Salem, Kuwait. Temperatures in the desert are consistently more than 120 degrees during the summer months when water becomes even more vital to basic life support. Lecuyer is responsible for ordering and delivering water for the camp each day.
