A crew of Hawaii Air National Guard loadmasters from the 204th Airlift Squadron, offload a pallet from a C-17 Globemaster III in preparation for annual exercise Swift Response 18 (SR18) at Miroslawiec Air Base, Poland. Equipment and personnel were transported from Ramstein Air Base, Germany in order to establish an airfield. The exercise includes approximately 2,300 participants from seven allied and partner nations that will take place at locations in Poland, Latvia and Lithuania from June 7-15. Airlift enables multinational forces respond to crisis, through the delivery of personnel and equipment, at virtually any region in the world.
