U.S. Army 2nd Lt. Matt Horine, a Kingwood, Texas, native and 1st platoon leader, Charger Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, meets with key leaders from the village of Bolan at the National Training Center Aug. 20. Soldiers from 1st platoon moved into the village of Bolan to establish a relationship with the local population and to provide security.
