180609-N-IE405-1192 SAN DIEGO (June 9, 2018) Military children pose with Star Wars characters at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) annual NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) Reunion celebration. More than 300 personnel and their families attended the annual event, which included a memorial service, local firefighters, Star Wars and LEGO characters, family friendly activities, informational booths, and giveaways. The NICU Reunion was an opportunity for military families and their children to reconnect with hospital staff who assisted them during their time in NICU, and help save lives.
