BANGOR, Wash. (June 7, 2018) Lt.j.g. Megan Lewis, from Pleasant Grove, Utah, assigned to the Blue Crew of the Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine USS Kentucky (SSBN 737), is welcomed home to Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor by her family following the boat's routine strategic deterrent patrol. Kentucky is one of eight ballistic-missile submarines stationed at the base providing the most survivable leg of the strategic deterrence triad for the United States.
