OAK HARBOR, Wash. (June 6, 2018) — Cmdr. James Imlah, Patrol Squadron (VP) 47 Commanding Officer, congratulates Senior Chief Aviation Electrician's Mate Joshua Bouge during a ceremony at Hangar 6 on Naval Air Station Whidbey Island (NASWI). VP-47 is a maritime patrol squadron currently station at NASWI. The Golden Swordsmen fly the P-8A Poseidon, the Navy's premiere long-range anti-submarine warfare platform, and have assumed Homeland Defense as 3rd Fleet's support of Pacific Fleet and Coast Guard District 14 objectives.
