U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Heather Pringle, outgoing 502nd Air Base Wing and Joint Base San Antonio commander, passes the guidon to Lt. Gen. Steve Kwast, commander of Air Education and Training Command and presiding official, during the change of command ceremony at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston’s MacArthur Parade Field June 6, 2018. The change of command ceremony represents the formal passing of responsibility, authority and accountability of command from one officer to another. Pringle served as commander since August 2016.
