Chief Petty Officer Antonio Parrish, electrician's mate and instructor from Maritime Civil Affairs Security and Training, teaches an electrical fundamentals class to a group of Ghanaian sailors at Sekondi Naval Base. Parrish is part of a team of U.S. Navy instructors, in Ghana, participating in Africa Partnership Station West. APS is an international security initiative, facilitated by Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, aimed at strengthening global maritime partnerships through training and collaborative activities in order to improve maritime safety and security in Africa.
