LOS ANGELES (May 21, 2018) Former Specialist Seaman 2nd Class Rosalind J. Henneman stands in front of a line of American flags following a ceremony at her home where she was recognized for her service during World War II by Capt. Gregory Hicks, the acting chief of information (CHINFO). Henneman served in the Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service (WAVES), and trained numerous Navy pilots on the proper use of highly specialized equipment as a link trainer operator and flight instrument instructor.
