Nicholas Koza, assigned to the “Avengers” of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 211, salutes before taking off from the flight deck of Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) during composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX).
