180510-N-AV754-0172 U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (May 10, 2018) Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Winston S. Churchill (DDG 81) attached cargo to a Eurocopter AS332 Super Puma helicopter during a vertical replenishment with the dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Amelia Earhart (T-AKE 6). Winston S. Churchill is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
