Hara, sit down with the JTF 5-0 staff for a situational update May 29, 2018, detailing the on-going National Guard response operations to the 24 lava fissures that have broken out since May 3. Since May 3 more than 200 National Guard Soldiers and Airman have been activated to support on-going support efforts in and around the Puna district on the “Big Island” of Hawaii.
