NEW YORK – Petty Officer First Class Joline Swan, an operations specialist assigned to Vessel Traffic Service at U.S. Coast Guard Sector New York, learns how to properly slide down a firefighter’s pole during a visit to a Staten Island fire house, May 26, 2018, as part of the Fleet Week New York 2018 festivities. Now in its 30th year, is the city’s time-honored celebration of the sea services.
