Soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) pose for a picture during the 2018 Best Air Assault Competition at The Sabalauski Air Assault School May 24 at Fort Campbell. Air Assault qualified Soldiers of the 101st competed in several events such as a 12 mile road march, a written exam, a buddy run, rappelling, a medical evacuation and trauma lane, obstacle course and sling load inspection. The winners of the 2018 Best Air Assault Competition were 2nd Lt. 2nd LT. Terence Hughes & 2 LT Sheldon Tausch 39th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Abn. Div.
