Cordero assumed duties as 3rd reconnaissance sergeant major after leaving 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division and Sgt. Maj. Misenhimer is slated to assume duties as sergeant major of 12th Marines. Misenhimer supported 3rd reconnaissance’s mission to conduct ground and amphibious reconnaissance and surveillance as well as other operations in support of 3rd marine division.
