U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (May 23, 2018) A U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 162 (Reinforced), 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), carries cargo during external lift training, May 23, 2018. The MEU conducted the training to maintain proficiency during a deployment at sea. The Super Stallion is the Marine Corps’ primary heavy lift helicopter with over 30 years of service, able to carry up to 36,000 pounds of externally lifted cargo. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
