Jennifer Pontius, the commanding officer of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69), upon Milius’ arrival to the forward-deployed port of Yokosuka, Japan, to join the 7th Fleet as part of Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15. Milius increases Commander, Task Force 70’s ability to promote security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region as one of the most capable ships in the Navy.
