    U.S. Soldiers and Airmen on a short-range marksmanship (SRM) training event April 28 at Fort Dix, N.J. SRM training teaches soldiers how to deliver fast, effective fire on surprise enemy personnel at close ranges, 25 meters or less. SRM has also been referred to as instinctive firing and quick kill.
