Sgt. Giovanni Nunez is an aviation maintenance administrator and aerial observer with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 462, deployed out of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif. Nunez, a native of San Diego, Calif., is currently deployed to Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, with the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward). Nunez enjoys leading Marines, weightlifting, listening to music and watching movies.
