U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Tim Reisch, South Dakota National Guard adjutant general, thanks Sgt. Trent Miller for his service during a welcome home ceremony for 15 Soldiers with the SDNG’s 200th Engineer Company at T.F. Riggs High School in Pierre, S.D., May 19, 2018. The Soldiers returned home after a nine-month deployment to Syria where they served as a bridge training team and emplaced and repaired bridges throughout the region to ensure freedom of movement for U.S. military and coalition forces.
