180522-N-RE636-0029 STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (May 22, 2018) Musician 2nd Class Matt Tremel, from Minneapolis, is a member of the U.S. Fleet Forces Band. Tremel, who has been performing since the fourth grade, performed with the band at the United States Navy aviation event at Miller Field in Staten Island for Fleet Week New York. Now in its 30th year, Fleet Week New York is the city’s time-honored celebration of the sea services. It is an unparalleled opportunity for the citizens of New York and the surrounding tri-state area to meet Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, as well as witness firsthand the latest capabilities of today’s maritime services.
