Seaman Phillip Dixon, equipment operator constructionman, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 7’s Convoy Security Element mounts his M240B machine gun for a scheduled convoy mission. NMCB 7 is currently participating in Operation Bearing Duel, the battalion's Field Training Exercise at Joint Training Facility Camp Shelby in Hattiesburg, Miss. Upon successful completion of Field Training Exercise, NMCB 7 will become the Atlantic Fleet Seabees’ Independent Unit Ready for Tasking.
