SAN DIEGO (May 17, 2018) Senior Chief Aviation Ordnanceman Matt Nold, assigned to amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4), puts duct tape on a cardboard boat during the cardboard regatta as part of Gator Week at Admiral Baker Park. The cardboard regatta is a competition where Sailors are given a time limit to build a boat from cardboard and duct tape to race across a pool. Gator Week is an annual event hosted by Expeditionary Strike Group Three, consisting of various sporting events and competitions designed to build camaraderie and teamwork across the strike group.
