Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Paul Zukunft addresses the crowd
Friday, May 18, 2018, during the Atlantic Area change of
command ceremony at Training Center Yorktown, Virginia.
The change of command ceremony marks a transfer of total
responsibility and authority from one individual to another, and is a
time-honored tradition, conducted before the assembled crew, as well
as honored guests and dignitaries to formally demonstrate the
