Staff Sgt. Rachel E. Spatacino an interrogator Bravo Company, the 173rd Specialty Battalion descends with a beautiful sunset background to the west and storm clouds moving away to the east. Spatacino has been waiting 16 hours since her battalion left their post to head to one of Europe’s only drop zones, Bunker Drop Zone on Grafenwoehr. As the Jumpmaster and the last soldier out of the C-130 Hercules, her feet and knees are tightly pressed together to prepare for the perfect landing on this perfect drop zone.
