William Goodwin, a former combat medic and certified instructor trainer with Medical Simulation Training Center at Grafenwoehr Training Area assists Spc. Delarenta E. Hawkins with the 509 Signal Company stationed in Italy, with Combat Lifesaving skills to attempt to save Spc. Michael Primo, a human patient simulation mannequin who was injured during a combat mission. Primo, with his humanistic features, lies in a pool of blood on daily basis for soldiers like Hawkins to apply their CLS skills to prepare for a combat medical emergency situation.
