Members of Civil Affairs Teams 4032 and 4033 of Task Force Darby donate more than 2,000 books to a half dozen different schools and agencies in Garoua, Cameroon March through May 2018 near Contingency Location Garoua. The books were donated by Books for Africa which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to collecting, sorting, shipping, and distributing books to children and adults in Africa. The project was also made possible because of the aid of Spirit of America who “brings resources, speed and flexibility of the American people to support U.S. missions abroad” according to their website. Staff Sgt. Ben O'Shaughnessy, of CA Team 4032 (far right) poses with members of Spirit of America during their visit to Cameroon to witness the delivery of the books.
