Ulziijargal Gusjan of Ulaanbaatar City, Mongolia speaks with a optometry patient while at a local clinic in Delgerkhaan as part of a humanitarian assistance operation between U.S. Forces, Mongolian Armed Forces, Sri Lankan Forces and National Government Organization Project Hope personnel as they provided health care in Delgerkhaan, Mongolia on July 20 and 21 as part of Pacific Angel-Mongolia, a 13th Air Force led combined humanitarian assistance operation. This is the fourth year of Pacific Angel, but the first time the operation has been hosted n Mongolia. The operation helps cultivate common bonds and foster goodwill between the United States, Mongolia and other regional nations. In addition to veterinary training, a clinic is being refurbished and medical outreach events are being held in Ondorkhan, Delgerkhaan and Tsenkhermandal soums of the Hentii province from July 18-23.
