180513-N-NQ487-0043 MEDITERRANEAN SEA (May 13, 2018) An F/A-18E Super Hornet, assigned to the “Knighthawks” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 136, launches from the flight deck as an F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the “Fighting Checkmates” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 211, prepares to launch from the flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75).
