Republic of Korea, Special Forces, 21st Battalion, International Peace Keeping Force, soldiers apply combat life-saving techniques to a mock casualty after a simulated explosion during the Combat Life Saver Course lane of the field training exercise at Exercise Khaan Quest 2011 at Five Hills Training Area near Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia August 1. Medical personnel from III Marine Expeditionary Force are sharing field medical techniques and procedures with all Khaan Quest participants for the first time in the exercise’s history. Khaan Quest is a training exercise designed to strengthen the capabilities of U.S., Mongolian and other participating nations’ forces in international peace support operations worldwide.
