Sgt. 1st Class Cornelius Whitaker pours pure heart into his performance of a Justin Bieber song for Joint Base Lewis-McChord service members, their families, civilians and military retirees, Aug. 1, at Carey Theater on JBLM as part of the U.S. Army Soldier Show’s 2011 tour. Through the show’s visit to JBLM, Whitaker was able to reconnect with a longtime friend he met at Fort Hood, Texas, as a private and hasn’t seen in nine years.
