A Navy Reserve Officers’ Training Corps midshipman flies in the back of an MV-22 Osprey during the Career Orientation and Training for Midshipman East 2011 program aboard Marine Corps Air Station New River, July 20. Five hundred ROTC students from across the country will spend four weeks aboard Naval Station Norfolk, Va., Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Ga., and Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune to oversee the various Department of the Navy career options.
