U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (May 13, 2018) ) A U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 162, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit and a U.S. Navy MH-60S Seahawk with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 28 , perform a flyby of the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), May 13, 2018. The squadrons conducted the aerial blue-green integration training in an effort to enhance their capability to provide mixed section assault support, rotary wing escort, or close air support, if called upon.
