Members of the 175th Fire Department and Department of Veteran Affairs Fire Department participate in Maryland’s Exercise Vigilant Guard May 9, 2018, at Perry Point Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Perry Point, Md. where they practiced giving medical treatment to victim role-players rescued from a collapsed building. Nearly 2,000 service members, from with in the Federal Emergency Management Agency Region III area, are participating in the Vigilant Guard exercises in Maryland and Virginia.
