Petty Officer 2nd Class Troy Crowder, Navy diver assigned to Mobile Diving Salvage Unit 2, connects an air line to a Kirby Morgan 37 diving helmet prior to conducting a surface-supplied oxygen training dive on a pier. The training is to ensure divers are able to safely and effectively conduct "hardhat" dive operations. MDSU 2 is attached to Commander, Task Group 56.1, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
