Petty Officer 2nd Class Troy Crowder, Navy diver assigned to Mobile Diving Salvage Unit 2, conducts a surface-supplied oxygen training dive on a pier. The training is to ensure divers are able to safely and effectively conduct "hardhat" dive operations. MDSU 2 is attached to Commander, Task Group 56.1, to provide maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
