DAHLGREN, Va. (April 26, 2017) – Gunendran Sivapragasam holds a framed certificate moments after receiving the Leadership Award at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Annual Honor Awards ceremony. Sivapragasam was recognized for outstanding contributions to the establishment and leadership of system safety engineering efforts for technology programs. Sivapragasam’s efforts greatly expands the Systems Safety Engineering Division’s core capability and brings system safety engineering influence to research, development, and technology insertion projects, according to the citation.
