Ricardo Burns, supply sergeant, Hotel Company, 148 Brigade Support Battalion, Albany, Ga., loads Enhanced Small Arms Protective Inserts prior to the start of the 48th Infantry Brigade’s Joint Readiness Training Center rotation. The ESAPI plates protect Soldiers from various forms of small arms fire.
