Hellickson, a bulk fuel specialist with Marine Wing Support Squadron-271 (MWSS-271), carries a fuel hose to refuel a CH-53E Super Stallion in the hot pits on Al Asad Air Base, Iraq. MWSS-271 is deployed as a part of Multi-National Forces - West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop the Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic government reforms and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
