U.S. Service members and Japanese locals take a photo together while dressed in kimonos in Iwakuni City, Japan, April 29, 2018. They participated in the Daimyo Procession Kimono Costume Parade and was featured in the 41st Annual Kintai Bridge Festival. This parade was originally held as a religious service when the former Iwakuni castle lord, or Jyoshu, came to greet the townspeople. Presently, it’s a local tourist attraction that draws an estimated 40,000 people annually. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Stephen Campbell)
