A piece of Offutt history begins to vanish from the landscape as McCoy Hall, a dormitory built in 1952, is demolished at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., April 17. Throughout its history, the 100 room McCoy Hall was mostly a dormitory for young Airman assigned to base however, for a short spell it was also used as Visiting Airman Quarters.
