180404-N-PO203-0173 PANAMA CITY, Fla. (Apr. 4, 2018) The Office of Naval ResearchTechSolutions-sponsored MK29 Mixed Gas Rebreather system developed at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, undergoes testing at the Naval Experimental Diving Unit. The system improves Navy expeditionary deep diving capability by decreasing helium requirements by up to 80 percent, decreasing logistics and response time, increasing safety, and reducing cost.
