JORDAN (April 22, 2018) U.S. Marines assigned to Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment (BLT 2/6), 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), stand security following a simulated civilian protest during the arrival of Marines for the Embassy Reinforcement (EMBREIN) and Non-combatant Evacuation Operation (NEO) training as part of Eager Lion 18 in Jordan, April 20, 2018. Eager Lion is a capstone training engagement that provides U.S. forces and Jordan Armed Forces an opportunity to rehearse operating in a coalition environment, to pursue new ways to collectively address threats to regional security and improve overall maritime security.
