Apodaca of the USS Stockdale (DDG 106) uses a camera to scan the horizon for any sign of ships or aircraft as part of the Ship's Nautical or Otherwise Photographic Intelligence Exploitation team. Stockdale, USS Mobile Bay (CG 53) and USS Spruance (DDG 111) are the CRUDES warships from USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) Carrier Strike Group (CSG) completing a SMWDC led CRUDES SWATT exercise.
