Army Reserve Private 1st Class Maxwell Schumer, a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear specialist (CBRN) and native of Bourbonnais, Illinois, assigned to the 342nd Chemical Company, 472nd Chemical Battalion, 209th Regional Support Group, 76th Operational Response Command marks points on a map prior to setting off on a land navigation course at Fort Devens, Massachusetts April 17, as he competes in a multi-command Best Warrior Competition. The event was part of the annual Best Warrior Competition held here April 16-20 as the 76th Operational Response Command, 412th Theater Engineer Command, 416th Theater Engineer Command and the 99th Division (Readiness) hosted a joint competition to seek out their very best Soldiers to compete in the U.S. Army Reserve Command’s Best Warrior Competition at Fort Bragg, North Carolina in June.
